sts_ai("i0",[1,"<br><br>\r\n<p><font color=\"#003300\">The next meeting of the Biobank\'s Board of Directors will be held on April 29, 2010 at the Van Andel Research Institute. </font></p>\r\n							<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\">\r\n							<p><font color=\"black\">The next meeting of the Community Values Advisory Board (CVAB) is scheduled for June 28, 2010.</font></p>\r\n							<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\">\r\n							<p><font color=\"#003300\">The Michigan Neonatal Biobank is a part of the Michigan Biotrust for Health, a collaboration among the Michigan Department of Community Health and Wayne State University, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and the Van Andel Institute. </font></p>\r\n							<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\">\r\n							<p><font color=\"black\">Photographic equipment was installed at the Biobank to capture images of the dried blood spot cards for inventory purposes. The camera is linked to software that calculates the volume of residual dried blood available on each card. </font></p>\r\n							<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\">\r\n							<p><font color=\"#003300\">The Michigan Neonatal Biobank assigns its own unique tracker number to all coded samples before they are sent to researchers, creating the added security of double de-identification. </font></p>\r\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\">\r\n<p><font color=\"black\">There are seventeen student assistants working with the Biobank. Twelve are at our Detroit repository and five are located in Lansing preparing the samples to be sent to Detroit. All of the assistants are students at either Michigan State University or Wayne State University.</font></p>\r\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\">\r\n<p><font color=\"#003300\">As of March 31, 2010 the Michigan Neonatal Biobank has inventoried 655,000 samples and placed them into its repository.</font></p>\r\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\"> ","","_self","",1,1,"left"],["transparent","bold 12px Verdana,Arial","#003333","none","bold 12px Verdana,Arial","#990033","none"]);
